The forwarding firm J. Van Roosbroeck-Maes has in a relatively short period grown into a reliable partner in full loads, distribution and logistics.

 

In the beginning…

It all started back in 1987 when Jules Van Roosbroeck and his wife, Chantal Maes, carried out all activities, management and freight services in Belgium from their home in Berlaar. The company grew all too quickly and the fleet of vehicles expanded. Such domestic freight forwarding gave Jules a great deal of insight in the planning, loading and the experiences of the drivers. This knowledge was promptly translated into strict arrangements and schedules with clients.

Steady growth.

Slowly but surely, larger customers too discovered J. Van Roosbroeck-Maes. In 1993, a new residence with an office was brought into use. In addition to the regular goods transport, from that moment on J. Van Roosbroeck-Maes also started handling air freight, with various domestic and foreign airports, initiating more international forwarding activities.

Long term relationships!

The personal approach and careful follow-up of each order are telling. In the 1990s, J. Van Roosbroeck-Maes registered torrential growth. By the end of 2000, a brand new office had been involved in another location in St. Katelijne-Waver. The fleet has since been expanded to 40 vehicles and the workforce to fifty. Due to the constact growth and to maintain the excellent service towards the customer, the company moved at the end of 2006 to a new and bigger location in Rumst. The fleet counts at this moment 50 vehicles and the workforce expanded to 60.

maintenance contracts for all vehicles that guarantee service throughout Europe. Drivers are taken on after a thorough selection process. They undergo in-company training before being entrusted with the ADR permit and the required working method characteristic of the VR Team, so that they in turn can meet the requirements and expectations of customers. 24 uur per dag service:
